G R Hardwick Optometrist is currently part of a group that operates emergency eye appointments for any concerns you might have with the health of your eyes.
Developed in conjunction with the local Fylde Coast GP practices we can now offer a triage and assessment service for any ocular conditions for which you would normally see your GP.
We have a comprehensive list of examination techniques at our disposal giving us all the tools we need to assess your eyes and direct you to the best solution possible. We may refer you directly to the Hospital eye clinics, back to your GP for prescription medication or simply reassure you that all is well.
This means you can benefit from quicker response times - we can usually see emergencies on the same day or non-emergencies within 2-3 days upon appointment request.
You can also feel comfortable that we have investigated your symptoms with the best equipment and techniques available and have done the very utmost to direct you to the best resolution of your concerns as quickly as possible.
There are several ways that you may be referred to one of our clinics such as: - from your GP/Practice Nurse; from another Optometrist ; from your Pharmacist; or simply making the appointment yourself.
